Players Youth SOUTH WEST PHOENIX YOUTH SQUAD |
| Jonathon KRAWEC(Vice captain) Left midfield Krawec is a former state junior player with a special left foot. Has been indecisive about where he wanted to play, but has settled well at left midfield and his pace and foot skills should see him contribute a solid number of goals this season. Could also gain a full league debut by years end. | | | | |
| Ryan PRYCE Utility Pryce played right back last season but is moving up the field. Strong powerful player with a mean shot, and will certainly score his share of stunners in future. Willingness to learn and a big heart will see him progress further. | | | | |
| Scott JUMEAUX Defence/midfield Scott is a voice on the field for all players. He has good close control and uses the ball well. If his chat on the field can be harnessed, he will become a valuable asset to Phoenix in years to come. Very technically sound. | | | | | | | |
| Albert BUCCINO Centre back A large boy for his age, Albert is very solid in defence. His body size and tackling ability mean that not many people will get past him this season, and he looks to be a massive future prospect. Holds his own against fully grown men, despite only being 14. | | | | | | | |
| Brendan HOUGH Left midfield Hough is very powerful off both feet. He has a great shot on both feet and a very good running capacity. He plays on the wing mostly, but is versatile and could fit in to defence or anywhere in midfield. | | | | |
| Ryan RISDON Utility Ryan is a versatile player who is honest and hard working. Polite and well mannered off the field, he is tough and hard on it. His skills are one of his strngths and he won't leave anything behind during a match. Can play at either end of the field and you always know what you will get from him in each match. | | | |
 |
| Kieran QUINN Right midfield/Forward Diminutive Quinn possesses exquisite close control and passing. Though he is the smallest player in the squad, he demands respect with the ball at his feet and uses it well. | | | | | | | | | | | | |
| Jacob WHITEAKER Midfield/forward The youngest player in the squad, Jacob plays simple and smart. He has excellent ball control and passing, rarely turning the ball over. Was seen as a midfielder, but after an impressive game against Dianella as a forward, this could be where his future lies. | | | | | | | |
| James McCLEARY Attacking midfielder/Striker McCleary was part of last years WA team for his age group, and possesses silky skills. His only worry will be coming up against opponents much bigger than he is, but by the time he is an adult, he will have learnt and improved enough to keep the ball off nearly any defender in the league. | | | | |
| Rory Binnie(Captain) Central midfield Binnie is also a former state player and leads the side in 2007. Probably one of the most gifted players under 18 in the South West in terms of technical ability and endurance, and will be looking to make a full league debut also before seasons end. Has the ability to score from midfield, but hasn't exploited that to his fulll potential yet. | | | | |
