Keith
GISBORNE
Utility
Keith has
played in a variety of positions and his aggression and tenacity
makes him versatile and valuable. His aggression was at its best
when he almost had a confrontation with a league player during a
scratch match during a scratch
match.

Mark
JORDAN
Left
midfield/Striker
Mark is relatively new to
football but has a good left foot and will score his share of
spectacular goals. He is also strong in the air and very keen to
improve and progress.

Destiny
GARTNER
Utility
Destiny has
played every position barr goal keeper in his short time at
Phoenix. He uses the ball well and his large frame is

Andrew
REALE
Central
Midfield
Andrew has been
in state set ups and made his league debut in the pre season. He
has a phenominal work rate and covers every inch of the ground
every week. Has a good attitude and should be a regular of the
league squad in the coming
seasons.

 |
Paul
SPAGNOLO
Attacking
midfield
Probably one of the
most naturally gifted players in the region, Paul could be a
dominant player in the south west if coached and disciplined
correctly. Has all the skills in the book, but needs to put them
into a team environment. If he does, he could be a massive
asset.
|
|
|
 |
Tom
KOWALCZYK
Right
midfield/forward
Tomasz wants to be a
winger but his future could be up front, where he has scored two
hat tricks this season, including one against Dianella. His
blistering speed makes it hard for any defence to contain him, and
his pace could be valuable at any level of the
game.

|
|
 |
Jesse
FULLER
Centre
midfield
Jesse was in the State
team last year and is a self confessed soccer-holic. His desire to
improve and learn is immense, but his test will be putting his
small frame against experienced fully grown men. Big long term
prospect.

|
 |
Joseph
PARISELLA
Utility
Joseph has played all
over the park so far, and gives everything regardless of where he
plays. He has a deceptively good shot and his tenacity is a major
strength.
|
|
|
 |
David
GOODFELLOW
Midfield/goalkeeper
David was
originally identified as a quality goal keeper, but has a value on
the pitch. His work rate and aggression makes him valuable, and
played very well as a defensive midfielder early in the
season.
|
|
|
 |
Douglas
WILDE
Left back
Douglas is keen to
learn and trains well. He has not been guided throughout his career
thus far, but will improve this season as he receives good coaching
and has the desire to learn.
|
|
|
 |
Aaron
ROBBINS
Utility
Aaron
was the leading scorer in country week last season, but likes
to play as a defensive midfielder. He is also comfortable in
defence and made his debut there against Ashfield. Looks like a
good prospect to solve Phoenix defensive woes in the league
squad.
|
|
|
 |
Luke
UTTERSON
Defence
Luke has
impressed in the first two matches as a man marker with good
aggression and tackling against more experienced opponents. He also
looks likely to be part of a new look defence in the
future.

Drasko
JANKOVIC
Midfeild/attack
Jankovic was leading
scorer in last seasons youth team, but can also play in midfield
due to good endurance. In 2004, he clocked well over 14 in the
"Shuttle Test" in pre season. Has a keen eye for
goals.
|
|
|
 |
Michael
NINNESS Left
midfield/Forward
Michael works
extremely hard and has created goals through his hard running and
chasing already. Has a good shot and good body size which will help
him progress in future.

|
Wade
COMITO
Utility
Comito has been in the
semi professional set up for a few years and is very gifted. Former
cross country running champion. Uses the ball well and gives heart,
making him a possible league regular if he can apply himself
wholehartedly.
|
|
|
|

|
Jarred
LOCKHART Central
midfield
Jarred played
Phoenix youth last year and is taking the step up this year.
Improved a lot last season and is very coachable. Despite his
slender frame, he put in some crunching tackles last season. He has
worked hard in the off season however, and put on some weight to
bulk himself up.
|
|
|
|

|
Pavel
SOKOLOV Midfield/Attack
Pavel is the most
senior player in the squad. Likes to play as an attacker or winger.
Works hard and has a good shot from range. He also trains well and
is very reliable.
